Floral birthday

For a lady's birthday that was right after Christmas. I assumed she probably got plenty of red/christmasy cakes and took this one in a totally different direction. (I was given creative discretion for this one.)

Vanilla cake with cream cheese buttercream icing. Flowers are royal icing while scrolls were piped with star tip. Edible glitter was sprinkled over cake for a shimmery look that doesn't show up well in the picture.

40th balloons

This was for a friend's grandson and not nearly as "mean" as most 40th cakes I have done.

Yellow cake with chocolate filling/icing. Balloons and 40's were piped onto cake, with white chocolate candles around sides.

Purple pony

Cake is 9x13 vanilla with cream cheese buttercream icing. Horse and butterfly is figure piped with edible glitter added to butterfly.

Littlest Pets

Chocolate cake with cream cheese buttercream icing. Chocolate 'paw prints' are randomly piped onto sides of cake and chocolate sprinkles were scattered on each tier.

Pets were placed on cake after arrival at party. This cake is actually quite small and will only serve 30.
