"Ice cream" cones

These are not cake but turned out too cute!

The mini ice cream cones were filled with Cocoa Krispy treats to resemble chocolate ice cream. Buttercream "whipped cream" and nonpariel "cherries" finished the look.

Shoe Box

Disaster!!!! The icing slid right off the cake!!!

(Of course, that was after a five hour delivery trip!)

This was a shoe box with a molded chocolate shoe.

Cake is vanilla with pina-colada filling. Iced in creamcheese buttercream, with MMF top and accents.

(My assessment: I believe the pineapple in the filling softened the icing and let it slide.)

P.S. -The shoe got knocked off right before serving and shattered!!

Red Sox

A pair of red socks for a Boston Red Sox fan.

Carved from a quarter sheet cake. Yellow cake filled with cream cheese buttercream and iced with almond-rum icing.

Kindermusik

This cake was for Chase's Kindermusik "graduation" party.

Yellow cake with cream cheese buttercream icing. Bars on glockenspiel are chocolate-dipped graham crackers, with gumball halves for dots. Logo is piped, with molded chocolate notes.

Cupcakes are topped with a star tip swirl, nonpariels, and molded chocolate music notes and symbols.
