Shirt & Tie

I made this for my dad for Father's Day. He wears a shirt and tie 24/7 so I thought it was fitting.

Yellow cake with ccbc icing and marshmallow fondant. Details are painted with gel coloring.

(This is why I do not use fondant, everyone pulled it off before eating the cake!!)

Ammo Box

I did this for Ernie for Father's Day.

The revolver is molded chocolate painted with gel coloring and luster dust.

Yellow cake is chocolate iced with fondant 'ammunition' on the top.

Princess Kelsi

AJ showed up on my porch one morning looking rather sheepish. He wanted to suprise Kelsi with a cake for her birthday but couldn't get my # without tipping her off.

He wanted it Hot Pink and a princess crown on it. I tried my best to keep it from looking childish, but don't think I succeeded.

Diaper Cake

This was for my nephew's baby shower!

The "cake" is made from diapers! The "flowers" are bibs, burp cloths, towels, and washcloths. Curly ribbon, a hairbrush, spoons, and rubber duckies complete the look.

It isn't edible but it turned out so cute I had to post it!
